Next Big Step
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Thank you for praying, giving, and referring people to Room to Send. It is incredible how the Lord has worked in this project thus far! The Next Big Step is nearly complete. Read below for details.
Over the past several months, we’ve been working closely with the architect on Design and Development. During Design and Development, all the trades address their respective expertise on the initial drawings, hundreds of decisions are made, and more specialized documents are developed. Last Friday, a portion of the Room to Send team met with our architect to review the progress. The Design and Development phase is nearly complete! This Next Big Step is almost finished, which means our Construction Documents are nearing completion, right on schedule.
To date, an astonishing $1.34 million has been given to this significant ministry need. Of that amount, $844,813 came from church members, which amounts to nearly half of the three-year pledge commitment. This is remarkably positive! The generosity of the people of God shows the grace of our God.
We hope to share updated images and a timeline at the October Members Meeting. In the meantime, please pray for favor with the City of Tempe and for the remaining gap of $1.2 million to be pledged or given. You can give now here. And let’s pray that all the praise, glory, and honor would go to our Lord, for He is supremely worthy.
